Liongard MCP — Claude Code MCP server: offline estate sync and drift checks
Pulls your Liongard estate into a local copy you can search, join and drift-check from one CLI, without hitting the API each time.
Open on GitHubWhat Liongard MCP does
The server covers every Liongard endpoint and keeps an offline snapshot of your MSP estate. Search it, join it with other data, or diff it against the previous run. All through liongard-cli.
Two install paths. Claude Desktop users grab the .mcpb bundle and open it via Settings > Extensions — no JSON, no shell. For Claude, Codex and Cowork, paste the install prompt and the installer drops liongard-cli and liongard-mcp into your user bin. Confirm with liongard-cli --version.
One thing to take seriously: do not start HTTP mode (--transport http) in this build, not even on localhost. There is no password, it binds to every network interface, and it shipped before the browser rebinding guard — a page you have open in a browser can reach the server. The MCP tools act with your credentials and can change things. Stay on stdio, and tear down any tunnel you set up for a remote agent.
This is a community build, not affiliated with Liongard, Inc.
What it helps with
- keep an offline copy of the whole Liongard estate
- find a specific inspector or system in the local snapshot
- diff configurations between runs and spot drift
- join Liongard data with other sources from the CLI
- let an agent query Liongard endpoints without manual calls
Example prompts for the agent
- Sync my Liongard data and show what changed since the last run
- Find every system in the local snapshot with RDP enabled

No. In this build HTTP mode has no password, listens on all interfaces and lacks the browser rebinding guard, so a page you open can reach it. Use stdio instead.
