Data licence
The datasets affpapa.org compiles are open under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Take them, republish them, build on them — name the source.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
1. The licence
Everything described in section 2 is published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may copy it, redistribute it, transform it, and use it commercially, including inside a paid product. The one condition is attribution.
No registration, no permission request, no fee. If you are reading this to find out whether you need to ask us first — you do not.
2. What the licence covers
The datasets this site compiles, and their machine-readable exports:
- NeBlask — the search-demand index for iGaming brands, games, providers and markets, including per-country breakdowns and the trust score with its sub-scales
- NeTGStats — the Telegram channel catalogue: subscribers, reach, advertising prices, categories
- NeRating — the aggregated counts of player complaints against operators, and their breakdown by source and reason
- NeEvents — the industry conference calendar: dates, cities, venues, verticals
- NeBaza and NeCatalog — the directory of companies, services and affiliate networks
- NeGlossary — the term definitions written for this site
- the figures, medians, shares and rankings computed from all of the above, and the text this site writes around them
In any format we serve them: the pages themselves, CSV and JSON exports, the public API under /api/, calendar feeds (.ics), RSS and Atom feeds, and the .md versions of pages.
3. What the licence does not cover
We can only license what is ours. Not covered:
- Trademarks, brand names and logos. They belong to their owners. The licence lets you reuse our data about a brand; it gives you no right to its marks.
- Material quoted from sources. News excerpts, regulator decisions, operator documents, screenshots and third-party texts stay under whatever terms their source sets. Where a figure comes from an outside source, the source is named on the page and in the methodology — check its terms before republishing it as raw data.
- Advertisers' copy and creatives. Promotional blocks are their authors' words, not ours.
- Personal data. Profiles of people in the directory may contain personal data. CC BY 4.0 is a copyright licence and says nothing about data-protection law; republishing personal data is your responsibility under GDPR and your own jurisdiction. Removal requests: [email protected].
- Site design, layout and code. Not part of the data licence.
4. How to credit
Name the source and link to it. In text:
Source: affpapa.org — https://affpapa.org/
When you use one dataset, link to that dataset's page rather than the home page — it is more useful to your reader and more accurate:
Brand demand index: affpapa.org/neblask
In a table or a chart, a line under it is enough. In an API response or a derived dataset, keep the attribution in the documentation or in a source field. Do not imply that affpapa.org endorses your product or agrees with your conclusions.
If you changed the data — recalculated, filtered, merged with something else — say so. CC BY 4.0 requires that modifications be indicated.
5. What the figures are and are not
They are estimates, and the methodology says how each one is built and from what. Demand indices are modelled, not measured. Complaint counts are counts of complaints, not findings of fact about an operator. Channel reach and advertising prices come from third-party measurement and from the channels themselves, and go stale.
The data is provided as is, with no warranty. Decisions you take on it are yours. If you find an error, write to [email protected] — corrections are the fastest way this gets better.
6. Using the API
The public endpoints under /api/ are open and need no key. They run on one server, so pull at a sane rate and cache what you fetch. For a full copy, take the CSV and JSON exports instead of walking pages one by one — they are regenerated daily and cost us far less to serve.
Automated traffic that degrades the site for everyone else will be rate-limited. That is a capacity measure, not a change to the licence.
