Kaseya BMS MCP — Claude Code MCP server: tickets, CRM, finance
Unofficial MCP server and CLI for Kaseya BMS: tickets, CRM, contracts, finance, plus analytics over a synced local copy.
Open on GitHubWhat Kaseya BMS MCP does
The server hands your agent the Kaseya BMS PSA surface: tickets, customer records, contracts, finance. A companion binary, kaseya-bms-cli, does the actual work behind every tool call, so the server will not start without it on PATH. Offline sync, full-text search and a few numbers the web grid does not produce are included: queue depth, contract burn, unbilled time.
This is a community project with no ties to Kaseya US LLC. Claude, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and GitHub Copilot connect over MCP; Claude Desktop gets a ready .mcpb bundle. Setup is either one prompt pasted into the agent or the install.sh / install.ps1 script, which puts both binaries in your user bin. Then authenticate as the README describes and check kaseya-bms-cli --version.
One hard limit: do not run HTTP mode (--transport http), not even on localhost. In this build it has no password, binds every network interface and lacks the browser-rebinding guard, while the tools can write changes with your credentials. Stay on stdio. A tunnel set up for a remote agent should come down. The same flaw is why ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot and the Gemini app are paused — each needs that HTTP path.
What it helps with
- check the ticket queue and unbilled time per client
- find a ticket by words in its text
- estimate how much of a contract is already burned
- reconcile CRM records against contracts and finance
- work with PSA data without opening the web UI
Example prompts for the agent
- Show unbilled time for every client last month
- Find Kaseya BMS tickets mentioning VPN and group them by client
- How many contract hours has this client used so far?

What does Kaseya BMS MCP do?
It gives an agent tools for Kaseya BMS: tickets, CRM, contracts and finance. It also syncs data for offline use, searches ticket text, and reports on queue, contract burn and unbilled time.
Why is HTTP mode off limits?
In this build it has no password, listens on all network interfaces and has no browser-rebinding guard, and the tools can change records under your credentials. Use stdio instead, and take down any tunnel you opened for a remote agent.
