Lexifye — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Builds structured dictionaries and glossaries with language models. Formats entries into print-ready layouts, digital books, and raw data.
claude mcp add --transport http lexifye https://lexifye.publifye.com/mcpWhat Lexifye does
The server organizes linguistic data in a three-tier hierarchy: dictionary, lemma entry, and sense definition. Source text markup guarantees lossless round-tripping when models inspect, update, and save definitions. Inserting Strong's references fetches lemmas, SBL transliterations, and glosses without manual research.
From a single lexicon, the service renders light or dark PDF files, EPUB volumes, LaTeX source, web reader pages, and JSON trees. It handles bidirectional scripts like Hebrew, Arabic, and Persian. A glyph gate catches font layout issues immediately instead of rendering missing symbols.
Every sense definition tracks granular revisions with line diffing and rollback support. You can add guest editors and revoke credentials at any point. Note that dictionary outputs require authentication; open public web links are unavailable by design.
What it helps with
- structure vocabulary into lemmas and distinct senses
- generate print-ready PDF files and EPUB volumes from glossary entries
- populate Biblical language lemmas and transliterations via Strong tags
- review sense revision history and roll back unwanted edits
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a new lemma entry for this concept with two separate senses.
- Export the current dictionary into a dark PDF and an EPUB book.
- Show the revision history for this definition and revert to the earlier version.
