Timely — Claude Code MCP server: meeting programmes
Drafts a meeting programme, keeps every revision and turns the approved one into a PDF. Nothing goes public without the user saying yes.
claude mcp add --transport http timely https://timely.publifye.com/mcpWhat Timely does
Timely is a hosted MCP server reached over HTTPS, so there is no local process to run. It plugs into Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and Gemini CLI. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, and client registration is open.
A programme can cover a set number of meetings or everything falling inside a calendar period. Edits go through timely_edit against a base_hash: when the document has moved since the agent last read it, the call is refused instead of merged. Each commit turns into an immutable revision, and timely_history lists them along with the PDF produced from each.
Rendering belongs to Doksi. timely_render hands the draft over and keeps the exact preview PDF that a person later approves. An assistant may call draft_approve, but only with user_confirmed: true after an affirmative answer, and revision, content_hash and pdf_hash have to point at the preview that was shown. If any of them no longer matches, nothing is published. Deletion is not instant either: timely_delete moves a programme to the bin, and timely_restore brings it back until the purge date.
It is not a calendar or a booking tool. No invitations, no availability, no reminders.
What it helps with
- draft a meeting programme for a calendar period
- keep a revision history with the PDF from each edit
- publish only after the user gives explicit consent
- export a programme to a JSON backup and restore it
- take a programme off its public addresses and bring it back
Example prompts for the agent
- Draft the meeting programme for March and show me the preview
- Edit the programme: drop the second meeting and re-render the PDF
- Publish this revision — I confirm

Questions about Timely
How do I install Timely in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http timely https://timely.publifye.com/mcp, then use /mcp to sign in.
What does Timely do?
It builds a meeting programme, tracks revisions and renders the approved version to PDF through Doksi. Only the revision and PDF the user confirmed get published.
Does Timely work without Doksi?
They are separate products and can be used on their own. Timely does not render documents itself; it calls Doksi for that.
