Hold— what it means in affiliate marketing
The waiting period between a conversion and the payout, while the advertiser checks the traffic.
Hold is working capital: a 30-day hold on a profitable campaign still means a month of ad spend financed out of pocket. Shorter holds are the usual reward for a long track record, and a hold that silently gets longer is a sign worth reading.
