Paradise Co. August casino revenue reaches record $76.9M despite flat VIP traffic

South Korean operator Paradise Co. posted $76.9 million in August revenue, a monthly record. The figure is up 32.1% year-on-year and 35.8% from July. The previous peak of $72 million was set in May.

VIP traffic barely moved: 16,950 visits against 16,879 a year earlier. Japanese player visits rose to 9,668 from 9,217, while Chinese visits fell to 3,027 from 3,325. Table revenue climbed 32.7% to $72.9 million, yet drop increased just 3.7% to $498.9 million.

The driver was hold. August hold hit 14.6% against 11.4% last year and 10.8% in July, explaining the gap between modest wager growth and the sharp revenue jump. Japanese VIP drop, the main segment, rose 3.1% to $219.2 million. Chinese VIP drop fell 12% to $73.5 million, mass-market drop grew 3.9% to $116.9 million. Slots contributed $4 million, up 23.1%.

For the first eight months of 2026 Paradise earned $482.8 million, 8.1% above the prior-year level.
