StackTheDeal Deals — Claude Code MCP server: live deal feed
Wires a verified deal feed into your coding agent so it quotes a current price instead of guessing from stale training data.
claude mcp add --transport http deals https://stackthedeal.com/mcpWhat StackTheDeal Deals does
Four tools come with the server. list_deals browses what is live right now and narrows by category, store or discount size; search_deals runs keyword lookups over products, stores and travel; get_deal pulls one offer by its slug along with whether it is still active; get_site_stats reports how many offers exist, which stores are covered and when the feed last changed.
Every tool is read-only. Nothing gets purchased, your files stay untouched, and the server has no view of your data. The connection is remote over streamable HTTP, with no API key and no sign-in. Clients that support MCP Apps render results as cards — photo, price, previous price, discount badge, live or expired state. Elsewhere the same offers arrive as structured text.
Checkout happens on the deal's own page, and that is on purpose: retail affiliate networks get their rules respected, the price is re-verified in one canonical spot, and a dead offer reads as expired rather than dropping you on a sold-out listing. Prices move fast, so the retailer's page is final. You may display the deal data with attribution and a link back; redistributing the whole feed in bulk needs written permission.
