getcheapgames — Claude Code MCP server: game key prices
Hooks Claude up to a price comparison for game keys across 40 markets. Handy when you want to know where a title costs less, or you are hunting deals and free games.
claude mcp add --transport http getcheapgames https://mcp.getcheapgames.comWhat getcheapgames does
The server gives Claude access to the getcheapgames catalogue: search for titles, every offer on a given game, the largest discounts, top-rated games within a budget, free-to-play picks, a publisher's or franchise's line-up, the list of shops being compared, plus news, guides and reviews. Prices come from official stores such as Steam, GOG and the Nintendo eShop and from key marketplaces such as G2A, Kinguin and Gamivo, shown in each market's own currency.
Four skills ship with it: find-cheapest-game-key, games-under-a-budget, free-to-play-games and game-deals-and-news. They tell Claude how to call the tools and how to lay out the answer: per-platform prices, region-lock warnings, tables and cards.
Nothing runs on your machine. A tool call sends its arguments to https://mcp.getcheapgames.com — the game name, genre, budget, platform and a market code such as us or de. No account is required, the tools only read public prices, and they never buy or change anything. The server caps how often it can be called, so a heavy session may be told to wait a minute. Links in answers point to getcheapgames.com, and most store links are affiliate links: a purchase may earn a commission, which does not affect what you pay or how offers are ordered.
