What AgentDeals does

AgentDeals indexes offers from infrastructure vendors and exposes them as agent tools. You can search by keyword, by category, or by whether your company qualifies for a given program. Each record notes when the vendor page was last read, so that date is how you judge freshness.

There are several ways to connect. The Claude plugin installs with claude plugin install robhunter/agentdeals and wires up the remote server for you. Otherwise run it locally over stdio with npx, or point your client at https://agentdeals.dev/mcp over HTTP. For Claude the hosted option is one line: claude mcp add --transport http agentdeals https://agentdeals.dev/mcp.

A REST API mirrors the same catalogue for use outside MCP. The catch is that you are relying on someone else's index: vendor terms shift, so check the date attached to an offer before you put it into a cost estimate.

What it helps with

  • find a free Postgres or MongoDB tier for a side project
  • filter startup programs your accelerator-backed company qualifies for
  • see which vendors changed pricing recently
  • compare two providers of the same service before picking one
  • shortlist services with a free level for your stack

Example prompts for the agent

  • Search search_deals for free database hosting in the Databases category
  • List vendor pricing changes since the start of 2025
  • Which startup offers apply to a company from an accelerator?
