payqr — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Generates European payment QR codes for SPAYD and SEPA EPC, decodes receipt images, and builds standard codes for Wi-Fi or contacts locally.
claude mcp add --transport http payqr https://payqr.cz-agents.dev/mcpWhat payqr does
The server creates scannable payment codes accepted by banking applications in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and across the Eurozone. It inspects the IBAN country prefix automatically, choosing the SPAYD format for Czech or Slovak accounts and EPC GiroCode for other SEPA transfers. In addition, it extracts structured fields from base64 image data.
All calculations run directly on your machine. The server avoids external API dependencies and AI models. Transfers under the EPC standard require a recipient name, which causes validation to fail if omitted. Generating batch runs with up to 50 codes needs an optional x402 payment setup.
What it helps with
- generate SPAYD payment QR codes for Czech and Slovak bank accounts
- create SEPA EPC GiroCode QR tags for euro transfers
- extract structured payment details from uploaded receipt images
- produce Wi-Fi network or vCard 3.0 contact QR codes
Example prompts for the agent
- Generate a payment QR code for 1500 CZK to IBAN CZ6508000000192000145399 with variable symbol 1234567890
- Decode the payment details from this QR code screenshot
- Create a Wi-Fi QR code for network Office-Guest with password secret123

Questions about payqr
How to install payqr in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add payqr -- npx -y @czagents/payqr in your terminal. This command runs the package locally using npx.
What does payqr do?
It turns banking details into scannable SPAYD and EPC QR codes ready for European banking apps. It also parses details back from images and creates Wi-Fi or contact codes.
What is required for SEPA EPC codes?
Unlike Czech SPAYD records, the EPC standard requires a recipient name alongside the IBAN. Omitting the name stops the server from producing the code.
