Salesbuildr MCP — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
An unofficial MCP server and skill for the Salesbuildr API: every resource as a command, plus offline margin and pipeline analytics. Useful when you sell through Salesbuildr and want your agent to reach it.

The server exposes Salesbuildr resources as commands your agent can call, and adds margin and pipeline analytics that run on your machine. A companion salesbuildr-cli is installed alongside it, and the MCP tools shell out to that binary. The build is community-made and has no ties to Salesbuildr itself.
Two install routes. Paste the setup prompt into your agent and it will run install.sh on a POSIX shell or install.ps1 under Windows PowerShell. Or run the installer yourself; it drops salesbuildr-cli and salesbuildr-mcp into your user bin path. Claude users can take the plugin instead: /plugin marketplace add Servosity/msp-skills first, then /plugin install salesbuildr@msp-skills. Authenticate per the README afterwards, and check the result with salesbuildr-cli --version.
One hard limit: do not start HTTP mode (--transport http), not even on localhost. This build ships no password, binds to all network interfaces, and lacks the browser-rebinding guard, so a page you open in a browser can reach it — and the MCP tools can change data under your credentials. Stay on the default stdio transport, and shut down any tunnel you set up for a remote agent. The same issue is why the remote routes — ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, the Gemini app — are paused.
