The server hands your agent AppDirect marketplace operations through a single binary. A companion appdirect-cli ships alongside it, and every tool call goes through that CLI — no binary, no working server. Offline sync and joins for cross-company billing reconciliation are included.
Install runs as a script. On macOS, Linux or WSL: bash <(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Servosity/msp-skills/main/skills/appdirect/install.sh). On Windows PowerShell: iwr -useb https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Servosity/msp-skills/main/skills/appdirect/install.ps1 | iex. Both binaries land in your user bin path, and Claude, Codex and Cowork pick the skill up from SKILL.md there. Check it with appdirect-cli --version. Claude Desktop users can open the .mcpb bundle under Settings > Extensions instead.
Skip HTTP mode (--transport http) in this build, localhost included. There is no password, it binds every network interface, and a page you open in a browser can reach it. The tools act with your credentials. Stay on stdio, and tear down any tunnel you set up for a remote agent.
