What recipe-share-event-materials does

recipe-share-event-materials gets the attendee list from the primary Google Calendar, then creates a reader permission for each person on a selected Google Drive file. It finishes by listing the file permissions in table format so the sharing result can be checked.

The recipe requires the gws binary plus the gws-calendar and gws-drive skills. Its steps use gws calendar events get, gws drive permissions create, and gws drive permissions list; you need the event and file IDs. The skill supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode.

Install it when attendee-based file sharing should follow the same sequence each time. For a single manual permission change, this skill adds extra setup.

# Share Files with Meeting Attendees

Share Google Drive files with all attendees of a Google Calendar event.

## Steps

1. Get event attendees: `gws calendar events get --params '{"calendarId": "primary", "eventId": "EVENT_ID"}'`
2. Share file with each attendee: `gws drive permissions create --params '{"fileId": "FILE_ID"}' --json '{"role": "reader", "type": "user", "emailAddress": "[email protected]"}'`
3. Verify sharing: `gws drive permissions list --params '{"fileId": "FILE_ID"}' --format table`
