Aiqbee Brain — Claude Code MCP server: knowledge graph
Hooks your AI assistant up to Aiqbee brains, so you can search, create and link knowledge on architecture, portfolio and digital strategy in chat.
claude mcp add --transport http brain https://mcp.aiqbee.com/mcpWhat Aiqbee Brain does
Aiqbee Brain is a remote MCP server at https://mcp.aiqbee.com/mcp, speaking Streamable HTTP and signing you in with OAuth 2.0. There is no API key to paste: the client opens a login on first connect and you use your existing Aiqbee account. The server exposes tools for the knowledge graph — brains, neurons and the links between them: listing the brains you can reach, reading metadata and statistics, searching, creating and connecting entries.
In Claude you have two routes. The plugin ships a /brain skill; the bare server goes in with claude mcp add --transport http aiqbee https://mcp.aiqbee.com/mcp, after which /mcp handles sign-in. Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Gemini CLI each get their own config or command, and stdio-only clients run through npx -y @aiqbee/mcp.
One catch: Grok via the xAI API connects to the server on your behalf and cannot run the interactive OAuth flow, so you pass an Aiqbee OAuth access token in authorization. Use allowed_tools to keep Grok read-only — aiqbee_search and aiqbee_fetch are the ones to leave in. In VS Code, reach the tools from Copilot Chat in Agent mode.
What it helps with
- pull a specific entry out of the Aiqbee graph without leaving the chat
- create a neuron and wire it to existing ones
- check metadata and stats for a brain
- point several editors at the same knowledge graph
- keep AI access to the graph read-only
Example prompts for the agent
- List every Aiqbee brain I have access to
- Search Aiqbee for everything about the payments service architecture
- Create a neuron about digital strategy and link it to the portfolio

Questions about Aiqbee Brain
How do I install Aiqbee Brain in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http aiqbee https://mcp.aiqbee.com/mcp, then use /mcp inside a Claude session to sign in. Or install the plugin: /plugin marketplace add AIQBee/aiqbee-ai, then /plugin install aiqbee@aiqbee-marketplace.
What does Aiqbee Brain do?
It gives your assistant access to the Aiqbee knowledge graph: searching, creating and linking entries on architecture, portfolio and digital strategy. It runs as a remote MCP server with OAuth 2.0 sign-in.
Does Aiqbee Brain need an API key?
No — OAuth 2.0 and your Aiqbee account cover authentication. The exception is Grok through the xAI API, where the interactive flow is unavailable, so an Aiqbee OAuth token goes in authorization.
