What PagerDuty MCP does

PagerDuty MCP connects an AI agent to PagerDuty through the MCP protocol. The package includes pagerduty-mcp, the pagerduty-cli command-line tool, and SKILL.md; Claude Code, Codex, and Claude Cowork use that skill file. MCP connections are also listed for Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, and Zed.

Claude Code can load the plugin from the Servosity marketplace. A local installer is also provided for POSIX shells and Windows PowerShell, placing both the CLI and MCP server in the user bin directory. Check the CLI after setup with pagerduty-cli --version.

Do not use HTTP transport with this build: it has no password gate and can be reached through network interfaces, so the default stdio transport is the safer route. The MCP tools use your PagerDuty credentials and can perform changes.
