N-able N-central MCP — Claude Code MCP server
This MCP server connects an AI agent to the N-central REST API, an offline organization-tree mirror, and cross-tenant search.
Open on GitHubWhat N-able N-central MCP does
The server exposes N-central REST API access alongside an offline SQLite copy of the organization tree. An agent can search across tenants, produce issue-triage rollups, and check whether a JWT is nearing expiry.
The package includes n-central-cli, n-central-mcp, and SKILL.md. The Claude Code marketplace install adds the plugin directly, while the shell installers place the CLI and MCP server in the user bin path on macOS, Linux, or Windows PowerShell.
Use the default stdio transport. Do not put this server behind supergateway or another stdio-to-HTTP bridge, because the bridge adds no password and can expose the MCP tools with your credentials.
What it helps with
- query N-central through its REST API
- search organizations across tenants
- summarize issues for triage
- inspect an offline organization-tree mirror
- check JWT expiration
Example prompts for the agent
- Search every N-central tenant for devices linked to this organization.
- Build an issue-triage summary from the offline SQLite organization mirror.
- Check the JWT expiry and list the N-central API data available to this agent.
