Blumira MCP — Claude Code MCP server: setup and use

This MCP server puts Blumira findings, detections, and agents from multiple accounts into one searchable local store. Use it for cross-account triage and trend checks.

What Blumira MCP does

Blumira MCP collects findings, detections, and agents from a direct organization and its MSP sub-accounts, then makes them searchable offline. An agent can use the store to compare accounts, support cross-account triage, and inspect trends over time that a single API call cannot provide.

The installer places blumira-cli and blumira-mcp in the user bin path. Claude Code discovers the skill through SKILL.md; the CLI can be checked with blumira-cli --version. The project is community-built and unofficial.

The server uses stdio transport. Do not put it behind supergateway or another stdio-to-HTTP bridge, because the bridge has no password and can expose the MCP tools and credentials to anyone who reaches its port.

What it helps with

  • search Blumira findings across MSP sub-accounts
  • compare detections from several Blumira accounts
  • triage findings in one cross-account view
  • track Blumira agent trends over time

Example prompts for the agent

  • Search Blumira findings across the direct organization and every MSP sub-account, then group them for triage.
  • Show detections that appear in more than one Blumira account.
  • Review Blumira agent trends for the selected time range.

Questions about Blumira MCP

How do I install Blumira MCP in Claude Code?

First run /plugin marketplace add Servosity/msp-skills, then run /plugin install blumira@msp-skills.

What does Blumira MCP do?

It gathers Blumira findings, detections, and agents from the direct organization and MSP sub-accounts into an offline-searchable store. Agents can use that store for cross-account triage and trend analysis.

Can I run Blumira MCP through a stdio-to-HTTP bridge?

No. It is intended to use stdio directly; a bridge without a password can expose the MCP tools and credentials to anyone who can reach its port.
