DataGate MCP — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup

DataGate MCP lets an agent inspect DataGate records for customers, customer users, agreements, service items, invoices, products, and related account data. The command-line tools support lists, individual lookups, filtered output, synchronization, and local search.
The installer places the datagate-cli and datagate-mcp binaries in a user directory. Set DATAGATE_API_KEY and DATAGATE_CLIENT_ID, then run datagate-cli doctor to check the credentials and API connection. The connector exposes a read-only surface, so it does not create, update, or delete records.
Use the default stdio transport. HTTP mode must stay off because this build does not enforce request-size and execution-time limits for that transport.
