Incentivised traffic— what it means in affiliate marketing
Users who perform the target action because they were paid or rewarded for it.
It is not fraud — the users are real and knew what they were doing — but it has no intent behind it, so retention collapses. Offers either price it separately or forbid it; passing it off as organic is where it becomes a breach.
