Cap— what it means in affiliate marketing
A limit on how many conversions an advertiser will accept and pay for in a period.
Caps exist because advertisers buy capacity, not infinity, and hitting one mid-flight strands live traffic. Negotiating a daily cap before scaling is standard; discovering it from a rejected conversion is not.
