CPE— what it means in affiliate marketing
Cost per engagement: payment for one interaction with the ad or the product — a video watched through, a level completed, a form started.
Used where a sale is too far away to price and a click too cheap to mean anything. The weakness is definitional: an "engagement" is whatever the contract says it is.
