Mislead— what it means in affiliate marketing
A creative that converts by promising something the offer does not deliver — a fake endorsement, an invented prize, a made-up news story.
It raises click-through and destroys approval rate and refund rate downstream. Advertisers ban it in their terms; a part of the market runs on it anyway, which is why offer terms spell out what a creative may claim.
