What linear does

This skill guides the agent through an ordered process for project tracking. It prevents messy edits. The model first clarifies scope, collects target identifiers, reads issues, and only then executes modifications in batches before delivering a final summary.

Predefined workflows cover backlog triage, release milestones, documentation audits, and cycle balance. The assistant relies on Linear MCP endpoints to inspect and modify tickets, project cycles, labels, and discussion comments.

Direct operations fail without an active OAuth session on the Linear MCP server. Windows setups experiencing transport drops require routing the MCP command through WSL using mcp-remote.
