This package acts as an STDIO bridge for the hosted endpoint at https://api.you.com/mcp. It carries zero local tool definitions or REST handlers. All it does is forward incoming MCP requests over STDIO or streamable HTTP.
Setting YDC_PROFILE=free grants keyless access to you-search and you-discover. Passing YDC_API_KEY activates the default set: you-search, you-contents, you-balance, and you-discover. If you need financial data or deep analysis, request you-finance and you-research via YDC_ALLOWED_TOOLS.
Keep in mind that enabling YDC_PROFILE=free overrides custom tool selections. To restrict or expand specific tools, you must switch to an authenticated profile.
