What vinted-mcp does

vinted-mcp gives the agent Vinted search with filters for country, price range, brand, category, condition, sorting, and result count. It can retrieve item information, examine seller profiles, compare offers between countries, and surface popular listings. The server also exposes country and category resources.

It runs as a local stdio MCP process and can be launched with npx. Search and price checks work without signing in, while account-related actions need an authenticated Vinted session. Browser login requires Playwright with Chromium; headless setups can provide cookies and a CSRF token through environment variables. Keep those session values secret.

What it helps with

  • search Vinted listings with filters
  • retrieve an item from its ID or URL
  • compare prices between countries
  • inspect a seller profile
  • spot popular listings

Example prompts for the agent

  • Search Vinted for items in this category, country, and price range.
  • Open this item URL, return its details, and compare it with similar offers.
  • Compare this brand across several Vinted countries and point out the price differences.
