jev-ultrafast-mcp — Claude Code MCP server: one call per browser task
An MCP server that takes browser work off the agent's hands: you hand over a goal and a check, the page gets driven server-side. Useful when a flow should not fill your context.
claude mcp add jev-ultrafast-mcp -- uvx jev-ultrafast-mcpWhat jev-ultrafast-mcp does
Your agent stops opening the browser. A task arrives in one call — browser_goal with a goal, a URL and a verification rule — and the loop runs on the server. The page is read as an element table, targets are picked from what is actually there, and the outcome is confirmed by code rather than by the model's own report.
Setup is handled by scripts/install.py, which locates your MCP clients and writes each config in the expected shape. It merges into what you already have and keeps a .bak. You need Python 3.10 or newer and a Chromium-family browser. The server itself pulls only mcp, websockets and httpx; Playwright and Selenium are not part of it.
Running the same task again replays a recorded macro, with no model calls involved. There is a hard rule in the design: the server never invents a selector and refuses when the page offers no matching element. Spell out the verify condition, otherwise nothing code-side can confirm the run succeeded.
What it helps with
- drive a multi-step form to submission in a single tool call
- confirm a browser action with a code-checked assertion
- replay a finished flow without spending model calls
- configure several MCP clients at once with config backups
- keep page contents out of the agent's context window
Example prompts for the agent
- Set the passengers field to 3 adults, tick Nonstop only, then submit the search.
- Run that same flow again — it is already recorded as a macro.
