The endpoint is https://mcp.transcriptmagic.com/mcp over Streamable HTTP, with an SSE fallback at https://mcp.transcriptmagic.com/sse for older clients. Each platform gets its own tool: transcribe_youtube, transcribe_tiktok, transcribe_instagram, transcribe_facebook, transcribe_linkedin, transcribe_rumble, transcribe_twitter, transcribe_twitch, transcribe_kick, transcribe_podcast. Three more tools — get_podcast_status, get_credit_balance, list_recent_transcripts — cost nothing to call.
Sign-in runs through OAuth 2.0 with Google, so the first tool call pops a browser window. Credits live on your TranscriptMagic account: one credit per video or clip transcript, while podcasts on Plus and Pro burn 10 credits per audio-hour. Fresh accounts start with free credits, and you top up from the dashboard.
Only public videos work. Private, age-restricted or login-walled links will fail. Twitch and Kick are clip-only — no VODs, no live streams. Transcripts land in your account history and you can delete them from the dashboard whenever you want.
