Syncro MCP — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Brings Syncro PSA and RMM operations to your AI coding agent, pairing local data caching with offline search and reporting.
Open on GitHubWhat Syncro MCP does
The server links your development agent with Syncro PSA and RMM infrastructure. It stores records in a local database so you can inspect assets and compile summaries without waiting on web interfaces.
Under the hood, the project pairs the syncro-mcp service with a companion terminal binary named syncro-cli. Agent actions delegate execution to this binary. Everything runs locally on your workstation.
Avoid starting the server with --transport http. That mode listens across all network interfaces without authentication, creating browser-rebinding risks. Stick strictly to standard input-output (stdio).
What it helps with
- inspect Syncro PSA tickets and alerts from the agent terminal
- search cached customer and device records offline
- generate cross-entity reports across connected client environments
- run automation commands through the companion
syncro-clibinary
Example prompts for the agent
- Show all open Syncro tickets assigned to the network team
- Search the offline database for assets belonging to Acme Corp
- Summarize pending alerts and linked endpoints through
syncro-cli
