Svipall — Claude Code MCP server: web access, install
Svipall gives AI agents local web reading, search, crawling, and challenge handling. Use it when page extraction matters more than a simple HTTP fetch.
claude mcp add mcp -- npx -y svipallWhat Svipall does
Svipall is a Rust-based local MCP server with CLI and REST interfaces. It turns web pages into Markdown, crawls within configured limits, and searches without an API key. Results can use row-oriented table output, write to out_file, or capture the site’s own JSON API.
The server marks detected blocks and labels extraction quality and duplicates. It can attempt supported CAPTCHA families on the local machine, with a manual dashboard for challenges it cannot resolve. Some sites still refuse access, so a successful request may return only part of the useful content.
Run it through npx -y svipall; processing and storage stay local. Claude Code can connect with the MCP commands below.
