Précis Finance MCP serves finance metrics through a SQL semantic layer. A YAML catalogue defines the measures and report layouts, so an MCP client can request statements, comparisons, or a breakdown by cost centre. The server also supports charts and snapshot file exports.
The public demo uses synthetic finance data and requires neither an account nor an API key. You can also run the server on your own infrastructure; a local setup uses Docker Engine and Compose v2. Pointing it at your own ClickHouse instance lets reports use that warehouse instead of the sample dataset.
