SwapWizard — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
An MCP server for DeFi swaps, pool discovery, and LP position workflows across five EVM chains. It prepares transactions for the user to sign.
claude mcp add --transport http swapwizard-mcp https://mcp.swapwizard.xyz/mcpWhat SwapWizard does
SwapWizard gives an agent tools for finding liquidity pools, comparing swap routes, and inspecting or changing LP positions across five EVM chains. Pool search can return APR, TVL, volume, fee tier, and protocol details, while quote tools provide transaction data from the selected route.
Concentrated-liquidity workflows include custom tick ranges, one-transaction entry and exit, position monitoring, and quotes that exclude the caller’s own liquidity. A local setup needs SWAPWIZARD_API_KEY to reach the API.
The service is non-custodial. Each execution-oriented tool returns router, callData, and value; the user approves ERC-20 spending when required and signs the wallet transaction. SwapWizard does not hold private keys.
What it helps with
- discover liquidity pools by chain and token
- compare swap routes across DEXes
- enter an LP position with a chosen range
- exit a position into a selected token
- price a rebalance without self-impact
Example prompts for the agent
- Find pools for this token pair and report APR, TVL, and volume.
- Get the best swap route on this chain and prepare the transaction for my wallet to sign.
- Inspect my LP positions, then price an exit that excludes my own liquidity.

Questions about SwapWizard
How do I install SwapWizard in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --env SWAPWIZARD_API_KEY=<SWAPWIZARD_API_KEY> --transport stdio swapwizard -- npx -y @swapwizard/mcp-server.
What does SwapWizard do?
It lets an agent discover DeFi pools, request swap quotes, and work with LP positions. The server returns transaction data for the user’s wallet to sign.
Does SwapWizard support concentrated liquidity?
Yes. It supports custom ranges, CL position monitoring, one-transaction zaps in and out, and quotes that remove the caller’s own liquidity from pool state.
