PayRam — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
This MCP server helps an agent deploy and operate a self-hosted PayRam crypto payment gateway. Use it to check a server, troubleshoot errors, or work out an integration.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.payram.com/mcpWhat PayRam does
An agent can request an ordered PayRam setup plan, check a server through its public URL, or describe an error and get possible causes and repair steps. The server also offers an admin runbook for tasks such as domain and SSL changes, backups, and upgrades. API-operation recipes and integration code snippets round out the toolkit.
The hosted MCP endpoint does not keep merchant credentials; the agent makes PayRam API calls directly using its own credentials. Payment search, payment-link creation, node sync, worker restarts, and project assessment are available only when you run the MCP server locally. PayRam deployment uses a VPS, and its installer runs in an interactive terminal. A person must claim the root account right away. Until the public Site URL is set, payment links use http://localhost, so check that setting before sharing them.
What it helps with
- plan a PayRam installation on a VPS
- check a PayRam server using its public URL
- diagnose an error and find repair steps
- get API calls for gateway operations
- add PayRam integration code to a project
Example prompts for the agent
- Plan the PayRam installation on my VPS and mark the steps that need my input.
- Check my public PayRam server URL and explain any problems you find.
- Show me the API calls to check payments and create a payment link.
