jjlabsio-korea-stock-mcp — Claude Code MCP server
Search Korean company disclosures, financial statements, and KRX stock data through DART and KRX APIs. Useful for company and market analysis.
claude mcp add --transport http jjlabsio-korea-stock-mcp https://server.smithery.ai/@jjlabsio/korea-stock-mcp/mcpWhat jjlabsio-korea-stock-mcp does
This MCP server connects an AI coding client to official DART and KRX APIs. It searches disclosures by company and date, parses report data, exposes XBRL financial statements, and returns stock profiles for KOSPI, KOSDAQ, and KONEX. Daily trading data includes price, volume, and market capitalization.
The server handles large disclosure files in stages. Files below 1MB are returned in full; larger files first produce a table of contents, then Claude can retrieve a relevant section with section_id. Available tools include get_disclosure_list, get_corp_code, get_disclosure, get_financial_statement, get_stock_base_info, get_stock_trade_info, get_market_type, and get_today_date.
You need API keys from both DART and KRX to retrieve the data. Local development uses Node.js 18 or newer, so that requirement matters if you plan to run the project from source.
What it helps with
- search company disclosures by date
- retrieve parsed report content
- inspect XBRL financial statements
- compare stock price and trading volume
- identify a market from a stock code
Example prompts for the agent
- Search the company’s disclosures for the requested date range and list the reports.
- Retrieve the company’s financial statements and compare revenue with operating profit.
- Identify the market for this stock code, then show its daily trading data.
