mcp-izipay — Claude Code MCP server: Izipay payments
Twenty tools for Izipay's acquirer API: authorize and capture charges, refunds, cuotas, card tokens, Yape and Plin. Built for Peruvian merchants under a direct contract.
claude mcp add --env IZIPAY_USERNAME=<IZIPAY_USERNAME> --env IZIPAY_PASSWORD=<IZIPAY_PASSWORD> --env IZIPAY_MERCHANT_CODE=<IZIPAY_MERCHANT_CODE> --env IZIPAY_ENV=<IZIPAY_ENV> --env IZIPAY_BASE_URL=<IZIPAY_BASE_URL> --transport stdio izipay -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-izipayWhat mcp-izipay does
The server exposes charge authorization with a separate capture or void, refunds on captured payments, card tokenization for repeat billing, Peruvian installment plans, transaction listing and the daily settlement batch. Payment links, direct Yape and Plin payments, 3-D Secure completion and subscriptions round out the toolset.
Auth is JWT Bearer and handled for you. On the first call the server posts username, password and merchant code to /auth/login, keeps the returned token in memory and refreshes it 60 seconds before expiry. Credentials come from IZIPAY_USERNAME, IZIPAY_PASSWORD, IZIPAY_MERCHANT_CODE; IZIPAY_ENV picks production or sandbox, and IZIPAY_BASE_URL overrides the host.
Read the version before wiring it to real money: 0.1.0-alpha.1. Izipay keeps its full REST reference behind a merchant contract, so the endpoint paths here were inferred from public SDK repositories and Niubiz conventions. The README asks you to check every one against your own integration kit first. Without that check the server is a draft, not a payment integration.
What it helps with
- authorize a card payment and capture it as a second step
- set up a cuotas installment plan for a given card BIN and amount
- refund a charge that was already captured
- store a card token so repeat charges skip the PAN
- match transactions against a daily settlement batch
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a 250 PEN charge without capturing it, I'll capture later
- List the cuota programs open to this card BIN on a 1200 PEN order
- Pull yesterday's settlement batch and reconcile it with my orders

What does mcp-izipay do?
It connects your agent to Izipay's acquirer API: charges with capture and cancel, refunds, card tokens, installment plans, settlements, payment links, Yape, Plin, 3-D Secure and subscriptions.
Is it safe to use in production?
It ships as alpha and its endpoint paths are inferred, since Izipay's REST docs are contract-gated. Validate each call against your integration kit before taking live payments.
