mcp-ebanx — Claude Code MCP server for EBANX payments and payouts
Hands your agent 18 EBANX tools: take a payment, refund it, send a payout, read an exchange rate. Useful when the product charges customers in Latin America.
claude mcp add mcp-ebanx -e EBANX_API_KEY=<EBANX_API_KEY> -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-ebanxWhat mcp-ebanx does
The server sits in front of the EBANX API and exposes 18 tools to the model. An agent can open a payment through boleto, PIX or a card, look it up by hash, and issue a full or partial refund. Another set covers payouts to bank accounts, with a batch call for sending several at once.
Some chores that otherwise end up in custom code are tools too. There is a validator for regional tax numbers: CPF/CNPJ in Brazil, RFC in Mexico, DNI in Argentina and Peru. Card data can be tokenized for reuse. Incoming webhooks get their HMAC signature checked against the integration key. And simulate_payment replays a sandbox response without writing anything, which helps while wiring up an integration.
Auth is a single integration key from the EBANX dashboard, supplied as EBANX_INTEGRATION_KEY. Requests fail without a working key. Add EBANX_SANDBOX=true to point at sandbox.ebanx.com and keep real money out of the loop.
What it helps with
- accept a boleto, PIX or card payment from application code
- refund part of an existing payment
- pay out to several bank accounts in one request
- validate a CPF or CNPJ before submitting
- confirm an incoming webhook is genuine
Example prompts for the agent
- Open an EBANX payment for 150 BRL by card and show me the hash
- Refund half of the payment with hash
abc123 - What is the current EBANX rate for USD to BRL?

Questions about mcp-ebanx
How do I install mcp-ebanx in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add mcp-ebanx -e EBANX_API_KEY=<EBANX_API_KEY> -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-ebanx with your own key from the EBANX dashboard.
What does mcp-ebanx do?
It gives the agent EBANX payment operations: creating and refunding payments, sending payouts, fetching exchange rates and bank lists, tokenizing cards, validating tax documents.
Can I try it without moving real money?
Yes. Set EBANX_SANDBOX=true and traffic goes to sandbox.ebanx.com; a simulated payment is not persisted there.
