mcp-inter-bank — Claude Code MCP server: Banco Inter in your agent
Wires Banco Inter into an AI coding agent: issue boletos, take PIX payments, read balance and statements. Handy when money tasks run from chat.
claude mcp add mcp-inter-bank -e INTER_CLIENT_ID=<INTER_CLIENT_ID> -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-inter-bankWhat mcp-inter-bank does
An MCP server exposing 22 tools for the Brazilian bank Banco Inter. Your agent can open a boleto, generate a PIX charge with its BR Code, look up incoming payments, send a PIX refund, read the balance, pull a statement as PDF, and register notification webhooks.
Auth is OAuth2 client credentials against /oauth/v2/token. Permissions come as scopes per API: boleto-cobranca.read and boleto-cobranca.write cover boletos, pix.read and pix.write cover PIX, extrato.read and pagamento-ted.write cover statements and TED transfers. You register an app on the Banco Inter developer portal to obtain INTER_CLIENT_ID and INTER_CLIENT_SECRET.
Stdio is the default transport when launched through npx; setting MCP_HTTP=true and MCP_PORT=3000 switches it to HTTP. Both credentials have to be in the environment before the server starts, otherwise the OAuth2 handshake fails and every API call after it does too.
What it helps with
- issue a boleto and hand over its PDF
- generate a PIX charge with a BR Code
- reconcile balance and a date-range statement
- refund a received PIX transaction
- register a webhook for boleto or PIX events
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a boleto for 250 reais and give me the PDF
- Show last week's account statement with counterparties
- Make a PIX charge and return the payment code
