mcp-flow-cl — Claude Code MCP server: payments and setup
Connect an agent to Flow to create payment orders, check their status and request refunds. Useful when your project needs to work with Flow payments through an API.
claude mcp add --env FLOW_API_KEY=<FLOW_API_KEY> --env FLOW_SECRET_KEY=<FLOW_SECRET_KEY> --env FLOW_ENV=<FLOW_ENV> --transport stdio flow-cl -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-flow-clWhat mcp-flow-cl does
The server gives an agent tools to create payment orders and email customers a payment link. It can look up a payment by Flow token, Flow order number or your commerceOrder, list payments for a date, and start a full or partial refund. Customers pay on Flow’s hosted page, which supports Webpay, ETpay, cash networks and international cards.
Set FLOW_API_KEY and FLOW_SECRET_KEY to authenticate requests. The server creates the HMAC-SHA256 signature; the secret key stays off the wire. FLOW_ENV selects the environment, with sandbox as the default. Flow provides a separate key pair for sandbox use, so production credentials won’t work there.
What it helps with
- create a payment order and return its link
- email a customer a Flow collection link
- check payment status using an order identifier
- list received payments for a date
- request a refund and look up its status
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a Flow payment order and give me the customer link.
- Check the Flow payment status for token
abc123. - Start a partial refund for refund token
ref123.
