mcp-epayco — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Connects ePayco to your coding assistant to process card transactions, handle PSE debits, and generate offline cash vouchers.
claude mcp add --env EPAYCO_PUBLIC_KEY=<EPAYCO_PUBLIC_KEY> --env EPAYCO_PRIVATE_KEY=<EPAYCO_PRIVATE_KEY> --env EPAYCO_TEST=<EPAYCO_TEST> --transport stdio epayco -- npx -y @codespar/mcp-epaycoWhat mcp-epayco does
This MCP server exposes eight tools for ePayco. It manages card token generation, direct charges, and transaction status queries using referencePayco identifiers. The toolset also handles PSE bank transfers by retrieving bank directories and checkout redirect URLs.
Offline payments run through voucher generation for Efecty, Gana, Red Servi, Punto Red, and Su Red networks. Card calls go to api.secure.payco.co. PSE and cash operations target secure.payco.co instead.
Calls will fail without valid API credentials. You must supply both EPAYCO_PUBLIC_KEY and EPAYCO_PRIVATE_KEY. Testing uses regular endpoints, as EPAYCO_TEST="true" merely marks payloads as sandbox traffic.
What it helps with
- tokenize credit cards and execute payment charges
- fetch the active directory of Colombian PSE banks
- initiate a PSE bank debit transaction with a redirect URL
- generate cash vouchers for Efecty, Gana, or Punto Red
- retrieve transaction details using a referencePayco identifier
Example prompts for the agent
- Generate a cash payment receipt for Efecty for 45000 COP
- List all available PSE banks and initiate a transfer for customer 42
- Check the payment status for transaction referencePayco 102938
