What Loppee does

Loppee runs as a remote HTTP MCP server at https://loppee.com/mcp/discovery. There is no auth step and no API key to request; the public repository holds metadata and connection docs only, with no credentials inside. Transport is Streamable HTTP, and the client sees exactly five tools.

Each tool reads, nothing writes. lookup_business returns exact or genuine-prefix name matches, get_trust_card returns the published Trust Card, get_business_reviews pages through public reviews and their disclosures, explain_recommendation gives the published basis for a recommendation, and compare_businesses takes two to twenty identified businesses. Tool schemas accept no address, city, state, ZIP, coordinates or device location.

Payment changes nothing here: lookup, comparison, verification, reviews and recommendation explanations stay the same. Records that cannot be resolved stay unresolved instead of being invented. Category browsing, pricing, checkout and business-owner tools are outside this surface — Loppee Personal, Loppee Business and Back Office are separate products and are not published through this repository.

What it helps with

  • find a business by name and rule out near matches
  • read a published trust card
  • page through public reviews
  • see what a recommendation is based on
  • compare several businesses side by side

Example prompts for the agent

  • Look up Acme Logistics with Loppee and show me its trust card
  • Compare these three businesses with Loppee and explain the recommendation basis
  • Pull the public reviews for this business through Loppee
