Grovs — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Manage Grovs deep links, campaigns, redirects, and analytics through an AI assistant. Useful when you want to handle mobile link workflows from your editor.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.grovs.io/mcpWhat Grovs does
The MCP server connects an assistant to Grovs so you can create links and campaigns, adjust redirects, and inspect analytics with natural-language requests. Its tools also return account, project, and domain details, along with metrics for individual links.
For Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.grovs.io/mcp, followed by claude mcp add --transport http grovs https://mcp.grovs.io/mcp. On first use, a browser opens for OAuth sign-in to Grovs; no API key is needed. Link archiving is irreversible, so take care before deactivating one.
You can also run the server yourself with npm install, npm run build, and npm start, or use Docker. For a self-hosted Grovs backend, set its address with GROVS_API_URL. Supported clients include Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI.
What it helps with
- Create a deep link with tags and metadata
- Check project installs, opens, and revenue
- Group related links into a campaign and inspect its metrics
- Set redirects for the App Store, Play Store, or web
- Change iOS or Android SDK settings
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a tagged deep link for the promotion page.
- Show me daily analytics for this link.
- Create a campaign for these related links and report its metrics.
