ShipSwift — Claude Code MCP server: SwiftUI components
Feeds your AI agent ready-made SwiftUI components and recipes for building iOS apps. Useful when you need a screen, animation or module without hunting for code.
claude mcp add --transport http shipswift https://api.shipswift.app/mcpWhat ShipSwift does
ShipSwift is an MCP server your agent queries for recipes and components. The catalog covers animations (Shimmer, TypewriterText, Metal shaders), charts (LineChart, BarChart, DonutChart), UI elements, and multi-file modules: Amplify/Cognito auth, camera with face detection, a StoreKit 2 paywall, chat with voice recognition, a settings page, VisionKit background removal, TikTok Events API tracking. Shared utilities include logging, String/Date/View extensions and LocationManager.
Wiring it into Claude takes one command: claude mcp add --transport http shipswift https://api.shipswift.app/mcp. Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Gemini CLI each use their own config format. There is also a serverless route — local skills read source files straight from the repo — but some recipes stay out of reach that way, since the server unlocks extra Pro-level material.
Components target Swift 5.0+ and iOS 18.0+. Every file in SWAnimation/, SWChart/ and SWComponent/ is self-contained, though some need SWUtil/ — skip it and the build fails on missing extensions. On an older iOS deployment target, part of the modules simply won't compile.
What it helps with
- add a shimmer loading animation to an existing screen
- render a sales chart without hand-writing axes and legend
- wire up Cognito sign-in with a phone screen and country code picker
- ship a StoreKit 2 paywall using the bundled client
- move photo background removal into its own module
Example prompts for the agent
- Add a shimmer loading animation to the home screen
- Build a Cognito sign-in flow with a country code picker
- Show me every chart component in ShipSwift

Questions about ShipSwift
How do I install ShipSwift in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http shipswift https://api.shipswift.app/mcp. Your agent can then fetch recipes from the server.
What does ShipSwift do?
It gives your agent a catalog of ready SwiftUI components and multi-file modules for iOS apps: animations, charts, auth, camera, paywall, chat.
Can I use it without the MCP server?
Yes — local skills read source files directly from the repo and work offline. Extra Pro-level recipes are only available with the server connected.
