Eigma — Claude Code MCP server: a personal wiki from your chats
Turns what you work through in a chat into wiki pages and brings it back as questions before it slips away. Runs inside the assistant you already have open.
claude mcp add --transport http eigma https://my.eigma.app/api/mcpWhat Eigma does
Eigma hooks into your assistant over MCP and turns a conversation into pages of a personal wiki. Each page lands in the right chapter, gets a few questions attached, and goes to a review inbox. Later the server surfaces what you are about to forget instead of what you opened most recently.
Eight tools ship with it, five of them read-only. Those read tools are what let the wiki serve as context in the chat you are already in: ask what you have on a topic and the answer comes from your own pages. Search handles CJK bigrams, German compound splitting and page aliases, so a page written in English still turns up when you ask in another language.
Anything that changes the wiki arrives as a set of operations you approve or drop one at a time. An assistant deciding a change is a good idea does not apply it on its own. You need an Eigma account before connecting, and signing in is a separate command — skip it and the server stays dead.
What it helps with
- keep a chat explanation as a wiki page
- find your own pages when you ask in another language
- test a page against outside sources and get a rewrite with footnotes
- merge two pages covering the same ground
- see which pages you are closest to forgetting
Example prompts for the agent
- Organize this conversation into Eigma pages and attach questions to them.
- What do I have on transformers?
- Go through my Kubernetes chapter and tell me what is badly organised.
