clianythingharness-mcp — Claude Code MCP server: run CLI commands
A paid remote MCP server that hands your agent four tools for running CLI commands and checking what came back. Useful when you need receipts and usage logs.
claude mcp add --transport http clianythingharness-mcp https://clianythingharness.clauxel.com/mcpWhat clianythingharness-mcp does
The server speaks Streamable HTTP and exposes four tools: cli_tool_list, cli_command_run, cli_schema_validate and cli_result_receipt. Your agent can see which CLI tools exist, run a command, validate data against a schema, then pull a structured receipt for the run. Usage logs and audit-ready evidence come with it, which is the reason to pay for hosting instead of running something local.
This is a hosted service, not code you clone. The public repository holds documentation and directory links only. Production calls need a bearer token issued from the product website, and a request to /mcp without one gets rejected. Pick a plan first, create or request the token, then wire the endpoint into a client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers.
The MCP endpoint is https://clianythingharness.clauxel.com/mcp, and requests go over JSON-RPC with an Authorization: Bearer <token> header. Claude connects with a single command, Codex and Gemini CLI have their own, and Cursor and GitHub Copilot take a JSON config block.
What it helps with
- let an agent run CLI commands and get structured output back
- validate command output against a schema before trusting it
- produce a receipt for a command that ran
- keep usage logs of tool calls in a CI pipeline
- collect audit evidence for agent runs
Example prompts for the agent
- List the available CLI tools through clianythingharness-mcp
- Run
git statuswith cli_command_run and give me the receipt - Validate this JSON against the schema with cli_schema_validate
