What Bigdata.com does

Bigdata.com gives agents access to licensed financial material, including news, regulatory filings, call transcripts, broker research and private documents. It also provides company, market, ETF and portfolio information, along with event calendars and research summaries. Results can include citations.

The service runs remotely, so there is no local server process to manage. Claude Code needs an API key, but the listed setup command only registers the endpoint. Configure authentication separately; without the key, this client cannot access the service.

What it helps with

  • find news and filings about a company
  • prepare research ahead of an earnings release
  • pull cited details from an earnings call transcript
  • check events related to a market or ETF

Example prompts for the agent

  • Prepare an earnings preview for Broadcom and cite the sources.
  • Find recent regulatory filings for this company and summarize their contents.
  • Gather events related to this ETF and include source citations.
