Yandex Wordstat MCP · askads — Claude Code MCP server: setup guide
Brings Yandex search demand metrics into AI coding assistants. Helps analyze query volume, seasonal trends, and regional popularity.
claude mcp add --env WORDSTAT_API_KEY=<WORDSTAT_API_KEY> --env WORDSTAT_FOLDER_ID=<WORDSTAT_FOLDER_ID> --env WORDSTAT_LANG=<WORDSTAT_LANG> --env WORDSTAT_API_BASE=<WORDSTAT_API_BASE> --env WORDSTAT_TIMEOUT_MS=<WORDSTAT_TIMEOUT_MS> --transport stdio askads-yandex-wordstat-mcp -- npx -y mcp-yandex-wordstatWhat Yandex Wordstat MCP does
The server links AI clients to Yandex search demand metrics via the Yandex Cloud Search API. It provides five tools that fetch related queries, track demand curves, inspect regional popularity indexes, and navigate location identifiers. All endpoints operate strictly in read-only mode, meaning the integration cannot edit advertising campaigns or keyword lists.
Query and territory reports cover the preceding 30 days. You can narrow data down by device type to compare phone, tablet, and desktop traffic. Each call handles only one search phrase. Without an active Yandex Cloud API key and folder ID, the server will not answer queries.
What it helps with
- check monthly search volumes and related phrases on Yandex
- track search interest shifts across days, weeks, or months
- compare keyword popularity across different regional markets
- inspect query distribution between mobile devices and desktop computers
Example prompts for the agent
- Check monthly search volume and related queries for 'bike rental'
- Show monthly search dynamics for 'winter boots' over the past year
- Which cities show above-average interest in home renovation services?
