antics-mcp — Claude Code MCP server for multiplayer games

Let an agent deploy a web game with player rooms, shared state, and scoreboards. Useful when a generated game needs a link others can play.

What antics-mcp does

An agent can build a game as one HTML file or as a multi-file project, then call deploy_game to publish a room and return its playable link. Other players can join through that link. No account is needed for this temporary setup; a room supports 8 players and remains available for 24h.

For lasting links and project scoreboards, sign in with GitHub using npx antics-cli login. This enables project tools for creating and listing projects, reading scores, and setting the title, description, and image shown in shared room links. Temporary rooms do not preserve scoreboards, so persistent results require the sign-in step.

The server provides multiplayer rooms and keeps game state in sync among players. Add it to Claude Code with claude mcp add antics-mcp -- npx -y antics-mcp. Other clients that support MCP can use the npx command and server configuration described in the project instructions.

What it helps with

  • publish a web game as a link other players can join
  • open a multiplayer room for a generated game
  • keep game state synchronized across players
  • read a project's high scores
  • customize the preview shown for shared room links

Example prompts for the agent

  • Build a small two-player web game and publish a room that friends can join.
  • Deploy this multi-file game so players can share a room and play together.
  • Create a project for this game and set up its scoreboard.
