What Pascal 3D Editor does

The server connects an AI agent to Pascal’s scene editor. It can create rooms and walls, add doors, place objects, and set zones. Load a scene from a file or save scene data to a local SQLite database. When the editor and server use the same data directory, the editor can receive the server’s changes.

Run it with Node.js 22.13 or newer, or Bun. It works without a browser or an external database service. Before writing changes, the server checks the saved scene version; if another process has saved a newer version, reload the scene before continuing. Bun installs also need @pascal-app/core as a peer dependency.

What it helps with

  • add rooms and walls to a building scene
  • place furniture and objects in a room
  • load a scene file for editing
  • save scene changes to a local database

Example prompts for the agent

  • Create a room in the loaded scene and add a door.
  • Place objects in the room and save the scene.
  • Load ./my-scene.json and add a wall.
