LTV— what it means in affiliate marketing
Lifetime value: total profit expected from one user over the whole relationship.
Every CPA price is an advertiser's bet about LTV, which is why payouts fall when retention does. Any LTV quoted for a cohort younger than its payback window is a projection, not a measurement.
