submit-to-agentlaunch — Claude Code skill: what it does
Submits AI agents to the agentlaunch directory and votes on listings via a public no-auth REST API. Useful when you need to list your agent project automatically.
npx skills add cognyai/claude-code-marketing-skills --skill submit-to-agentlaunch -a claude-codeWhat submit-to-agentlaunch does
The skill registers AI agents into the agentlaunch directory using plain HTTP requests. Submissions do not require an account or API token. You send a JSON payload with project details, get a generated slug in response, and the listing goes live immediately.
Under the hood, it interacts with https://agents-launch.lovable.app/api/public/v1 through Bash or WebFetch. It queries /meta to fetch active categories and pricing options before submitting. Paths containing favicon trigger a 400 status, so direct links to actual images are required.
Because agentlaunch lacks a free-text search parameter, checking existing entries relies on category scans or direct slug requests. If the normalized website URL is already registered, the API responds with a 409 code containing the existing record.
What it helps with
- List an AI agent in the agentlaunch directory via JSON POST
- Inspect whether an agent slug or website URL is already registered
- Retrieve current category enums and submission schema limits
- Cast an upvote for a specific agent slug
Example prompts for the agent
- Check if https://researchbot.ai is already listed on agentlaunch
- Submit the ResearchBot agent to agentlaunch with its llms.txt link
- Upvote agent researchbot on agentlaunch
